Families Through Knowledge and Research

Introduction

At the MOGAD Community Center (MCC), we believe that knowledge is one of the most powerful tools a family can have when facing MOGAD. Our Clinical Trial Research & Education Program, led by Danielle Silverman, was created to help patients and families better understand clinical research, learn about emerging treatments, and navigate opportunities to participate in studies that may help advance the future of MOGAD care.

Our mission is simple: to ensure that every family has access to clear, unbiased, and easy-to-understand information about clinical trials and research opportunities.

What We Offer

• Clinical Trial Education
• Information about ongoing and upcoming MOGAD research studies
• Research navigation support
• Educational webinars and events
• Partnerships with physicians, research institutions, and pharmaceutical companies working to improve outcomes for individuals living with MOGAD.

Our Commitment

The MOGAD Community Center does not provide medical advice or recommend specific treatments or clinical trials. Participation in any study is a personal decision that should always be made in consultation with your healthcare providers.

Our role is to provide education, support, and resources so that every family can make informed decisions with confidence.

Looking Toward the Future

Every breakthrough in medicine begins with research. By educating and empowering our community, we hope to accelerate discoveries, expand treatment options, and ultimately improve the lives of everyone affected by MOGAD.

Because knowledge creates opportunities, and research creates hope.

MCC Magic Days at Disney

Join the MOGAD Connection Center (MCC) for two unforgettable days of hope, friendship, and awareness as we celebrate MOGAD at Disney parks on both coasts. These special events bring families together to create lifelong memories while reminding everyone that no family should navigate MOGAD alone.
