Travel Assistance Program

Helping Families Reach Expert MOGAD Care

The Hope on the Road Travel Assistance Program was created by the MOGAD Connection Center (MCC) to help individuals and families living with MOGAD access experienced specialists when travel costs become a barrier. We believe every patient deserves the opportunity to receive expert care regardless of where they live.

What We Help With

  • Airfare assistance

  • Gas cards or mileage assistance

  • Hotel accommodations

  • Rental car assistance

  • Parking expenses

  • Meal assistance during medical travel

  • Emergency travel support for urgent appointments

 

Who May Be Eligible

  • Individuals diagnosed with MOGAD

  • Parents or caregivers traveling with a child diagnosed with MOGAD

  • Patients with a confirmed appointment at a recognized neuroimmunology specialist or center

  • Applicants demonstrating financial need (subject to program guidelines)

 

 

How the Program Works

  • Complete a simple online application.

  • Provide confirmation of your specialist appointment.

  • Applications are reviewed by MCC.

  • Approved assistance depends on available funding.

  • Whenever possible, MCC pays vendors directly.

These special events bring families together to create lifelong memories while reminding everyone that no family should navigate MOGAD alone.
